What are Regenerative Treatments?
PRP is prepared from the patient's own blood and concentrates platelets for injection or application. Polynucleotides are injectable products designed to support tissue quality. Exosome products are different and may have limited evidence or regulatory approval depending on the product and country; they should not be treated as equivalent to PRP.
Applications
Applications may include selected concerns involving skin texture, fine lines, recovery, scalp support or delicate areas. These treatments are not a cure for ageing, scarring or hair loss, and they should not replace diagnosis or established medical treatment.
Results and safety
Results tend to appear gradually and vary widely. Some patients notice improvement in texture, resilience or hair quality, while others see little change. A course may be suggested, but outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
Injection-related bruising, swelling, infection and discomfort are possible. Blood collection adds fainting or bruising risk for PRP. Product quality and regulatory status are especially important for exosome treatments, because unapproved products have been linked with serious harm. The clinic should identify the exact product and explain the evidence.
