What are Profhilo?
Profhilo is placed at defined points or tissue planes to spread through the treatment area. Profhilo Structura is a different product and technique intended for deeper tissue support in selected patients. Neither should be described as a simple moisturiser or assumed to work like conventional filler.
Applications
Applications may include reduced skin hydration, crepey texture, early laxity or selected age-related tissue changes. Common treatment areas can include the face and neck, while product-specific indications and local availability must be checked.
Results and safety
Changes are usually subtle and develop over several weeks. Patients may notice improved hydration, smoothness or firmness, but the result varies and does not create the same projection as a contouring filler.
Temporary bumps, swelling, bruising and tenderness can occur. Infection, inflammation, nodules, allergy and vascular injury are possible with any injectable. The exact product, batch, treatment area and approved use should be confirmed before treatment.
